I cannot for the life of me believe that Dee is not only still there, but that she also made it through last night and the Double Elimination.
It was at the cost of Yash. When I had to take that extra second to think about as it was happening last night, Yash is I suppose the better at challenges. At the same time, Dee and especially, Devens are excellent at challenges. I would have to get the counts but it cant be that much a difference between Yash, Devens and Dee’s in challenge wins. They win when they need to win and Dee’s social game is head and above anyone in this game. When I saw her and Melody mouthing what was up after Melody won for the second time yesterday, I was like OMG. Dee is being kept which is astonishing to me.
Again, the trade off is not bad if you consider Yash could have not only ran the table, he also has the jury in its hands. He would win against any of the others now. Right now, it is Dee and Devens game to lose. If they pull it off till the end, this would be the best alliance since Will and Boogie. And, remember what I have said for years now, do not do a real alliance above one partner the entire way through these shows. It never works when there are more than 2 people. You should not do more with the two people as a ride or die to the end but the problem is the feeling secure today is very hard. It is very hard to trust someone until the very end or final two.
With Boogie and Will, there were never any cracks between them the entire way. It was them and no one else until the end and they did it silently for all intent and purpose. Dee already cracked verbally one day and she got angry one time at Devens. If anyone cracks, it would be her first. Plus, she won The Challenge which breaks alliances like we drink water.
If you take out the equation that Dee has some type of ‘spell’ to be able to talk these people into doing anything ‘Jedi Mind Trick’ style, I like Devens play a tad better. But they are a bit even right now. Or, in my eyes, I think Devens is playing better by maybe a tad or a little bit. It is close between them. Both of their bonuses offset though Devens was a bit more powerful to me at first at least to be able to pull that off a few episodes ago, like I alluded to this week, that 5K went a long way when all was said and done. It may be a wash. Then, it comes down to wins and social game. Both have great social games. Dee to me has that advantage after last night because until Unloaded, I could not believe my eyes. I still have no clue how she does it unless maybe it was talked about before it. Which would also be smart.
It is never good when TJ has to come to the house.
Josh, Nelson and Theo are also gone with Cory leaving however, the first three left because of code of conduct issues and ironically, they were all different. Theo used the N word which I thought was allowed if you are dark skinned or black and then Josh said racial slurs that I did not remember seeing if it happened on camera. Nelson’s reaction to it got him angry. He then broke things in the house after throwing whatever it was and breaking things against the wall and floor I suppose.
Cory of course left anyway because of his daughter but now, the Orange team is stacked with double the players than the other two teams. The Blue and Grey teams have three people each. Even still. It won’t be easy for them to be beat. The light blue team has all girls. But they have Cara Maria and the other two are great competitors. The Grey team has Chris who won last year so that is always in the air. Plus, the other two have done well this year. Leta on Blue, is someone to look out for and aside from CT and Bananas, she’s up there too. She may be my third favorite though I like Cara Maria too so far this year. Oh My. ‘Mean Cuisine’. All athletics are out the window in this challenge. It is an eating competition. With the added rowing of boat and with the added strategy of picking your competitions food. That is cool.
The orange team almost has too many people for this rowing competition. It took them longest to get settled into the boat and off the dock. For the people that do not watch the Challenge, usually TJ stands there and makes them eat without any real competition. These added two layers are smart. Survivor does a version of this too but its almost like an auction or a Q&A determines what you get and sometimes its by chance. Usually, they win a certain amount of money on Survivor, then, you get to pay for your meal as it goes and until you run out of money. Some of those meals are busts like Eyeball. Some of them are real meals like hamburgers, candy or steak.
This marketplace is absolutely disgusting. I would not last long gagging wise. I gag when I open cat food some days. I see spider. Fish Entrails whatever that is. Michelle ordered some type of blood dish I am hearing. Someone said snail. I may have seen a scorpion. I cannot remember but also, where are we again? How many gross delicacies does a region of the world have? I think they ran out of some or better yet, can’t you get each other the same thing?
One team gets Century Eggs, Onions & Hot peppers, Fish & Durian whatever that is and Duck Beaks. To me, I could do that with ease. Duck Beaks are fried and small.
It’s implied that you must block out all taste. Just do not breathe as much as possible and do not breathe through your nose. If you follow that exercise, you can coast by this challenge. Ironically, Hot peppers may be the worse to deal with. That was a diabolical pick. I just realized everyone is in white. They are robes or bibs. We need a concise list. I only remembering seeing one. The pig face is the grossest by far. There is so much pig face that it looks so hard to eat clean.
Blue wins and honestly, they won big. That Leta is a force and then never count out Cara Maria whom I wish would relax on her self. Is she still married? I bet the house no but it would be cool to be wrong.
Wait. No one thought about that power of the Captain having control of the money in the end? I think I even said one time here that ‘can you say Johnny Bananas’ in that post. By the way, who would not split the money in this Challenge when its all based on teams? In Bananas case, Sarah and her were partners. It was not a team so it maybe was easier to screw over. If they were partners, you must talk about it. You also must agree to terms as soon as possible. You cannot weigh it or gauge it on play. That’s not fair no matter what or how lopsided. Everyone is given the same playing field.
However and again, in such a team driven season, its got to be split even or talk about mutiny, there would be a fight.
And, ‘Born to be Cassidy’.
Cassidy wins her fourth elimination. Izzy was out. Izzy did well. But she was a bit hesitant and it showed in the end.
Last, it looks like we have a merge between the Grey and the Blue teams. They are now team Grey. They now need a new Captain. That is how we end this week on The Challenge, Cutthroat II.

Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 7, “Yes & Baby” was funny, especially after hearing the first ‘Yes’.
I have been walking around saying ‘Yes’ all week to my cat and actually, to myself now that I think of it. I’ll burst out a stern ‘Yes’ just walking around my house. Plus, the Believe sign is back and in the end, and after much pondering, it’s also up now where it should be hung. Roy talking about Keeley made what was the greatest and easiest break up’s in the history of falling in love. They (Roy & Keely) should be back together before the end of the season. What else? Ted is not into using dating apps which I get, and have we even even talked about Tracey Ullman and her character this season? Which honestly, I am still on the fence while I wait for that bottom to drop out.
Listen folks, there was going to be what I call a learning curve this season. Going into the season, you knew that Ted was back in Kansas or Missouri for the last four years let’s use. Right away, it is going to take time to introduce a new story line. It took an entire episode in Kansas or Missouri and then when you introduce the women’s team, there will be learning curve there too. We barely know about soccer and futbol in general, let alone the women’s teams. We have the sweethearts of soccer here in the US women’s soccer team. And, yet no one knows them as household names. That is part of the beauty in this season’s Ted Lasso. I have grown, especially after this last episode and maybe the one before it, to have total interest in this women’s team. They are so cool first and foremost and the entire thing coupled with Ted, Beard and Roy works. Let alone with the two girls, potentially three girls now along with Higgins that run the team.
The self deprecation is great. It reminds me of that film ‘The Dink.’ We are at the point now where there is popularity in both sports today, for their being jokes about it which in these episodes so far, are funny. Now, we have to deal with pay inequity, however when watching Wrexham too, we know a few things that bring it home. One, everyone plays professional futbol and soccer in the UK. Two, many have day jobs and three some if not most are broke. There is no money in futbol or in European soccer. You have to get really great to make real money. And, that’s how it is today. Four by the way at least in Wrexham is how the entire community is involved in doing something on behalf of the team.
Roy’s now ex, Erin, had to endure ever so gracefully, Roy talking about Keely when an entirely other subject and issue was taking place. Like I said above, they are now one step closer to getting back together by the end of the season. Besides, they offset each other which is why it works.
Speaking of being in a potential relationship, Ted at least asked the theatre woman out and even though she did say no, sorta, she lingered for what its worth thinking about something and therefore, I maintain that she and her current guy will end. This is not over and honestly, it would be a huge score for Ted. The thing about Ted is that everything he does works. He is also the nicest and most positive human on the planet. It seems like he does not fail and we know about his great heart. I kinda hope Ted meets someone. The problem is that he does not like every walk of life. So, to find someone else on that level and above his pay grade will take time. For what its worth, in real life, he was able to marry to one of the loves of my life, Olivia Wilde.
At least he has the team which occupies his time with ease. Anyway, ‘Yes!’

The ‘Reacher’ season 4 finale – Reacher has come to an end.
Based on Lee Child’s 13th Reacher novel Gone Tomorrow (2009), the fourth season followed Jack Reacher played by Alan Ritchson, to Philadelphia. In this final episode and after Senator Sampson goes into the water with the terrorist, he does not survive the blow. I love how the story line was so over the top that the Hoth’s felt as if they had to test the bioweapon agent in real life and in a large gathering and setting.
Wouldn’t that just be called setting it off? They were doing it again or anyway the very next day? Does that make sense and didn’t they already try it when they killed the junky with it? I guess they want to see how it works in large environments.
This book and season got way out of control. Reacher, Tamara and Jacob now go after the Hoth’s to find them at the abandoned apartment building. During the fight, the Hoths’ get someone to set the agent off in some nightclub. Would that be a test too or is that the actual bombing or release of it? It seems like the nightclub would potentially have less people than at that charity event which was test 1.
Reacher fights the Hoth’s while Tamara and Jacob go to the nightclub to save that place from being exposed to the chemical weapon. The guy was trying to put that agent in the fog machines. They stop him with a gun shot before he can get it into the fog machine. At the same time, Reacher does the WWE script like performance by almost being dead and then he gets back the strength like Hulk Hogan would do, and throws one out a window. And, while the other was trying to attack Reacher with the very bioweapon at issue, he grabs the syringe to inject the other Hoth with it, killing her in the building.
Reacher collapses out on the street, and low and behold, the other Hoth is still alive after falling four floors to the ground. She now tries to kill Reacher again, but, Jacob saves the day by shooting her while she is on top of Reacher.
All three of them get a kill in this melee. The Hoth that won’t die tells Jacob that she is why his sister and nephew are dead. As much as Jacob wants to shoot her in the head, he opts to not do it.
They all get together to throw Jacob’s sisters ashes onto the beach and in the water.
As we mentioned prior to today, Reacher has already begun to film season 5, Child’s 20th book in the Reacher series, Make Me. Reacher goes to a small town to get involved in some issue there. There are also new cast members in it, Kevin Durand, Amanda Ip, Ciara Bravo and Jay Baruchel.
