We have a lot to talk about this week. The Challenge was another women’s week after the Mercenaries showed up last week. Ted Lasso season ends this week, Big Brother ended up the way it should have in the end. The Amazing Race is moving along continuing into Next Week…

The Challenge 42 Episode 11: Anna Leigh Holds Her own in Final vs Tori
Underwear Gate

In The Challenge Cutthroat, the actual challenge is called Feed It Through. It looks hard because you have to do the Operation Game but in real life where you have to push a block or symbol through a maze. The challenge is at night and it’s on the beach. Everyone needs to guide three plates through the maze one at a time to be stacked on top of each other at the end of the course. The maze goes low and high and left and right with some traps and the twists and turns are hard because did I mention it’s being done all blindfolded?

It comes down to them being able to talk to each other as a couple of players get knocked in the head because the block falls down the pole fast and out of control. It is pretty even at first, but Orange took the early lead after delivering their first plate. When they all get done their third plates, Orange pulls ahead for the win. That means they have to pick two women to go into the nomination challenge.

Adrienne must nominate one girl before the other four vote on the other nominee. Bananas thinks that Lete is going into the Arena for an elimination challenge, and its been made perfectly clear that Tori does not want Michele to go in as they talk about the lesser of evils as far as who she can do well against in the Arena. She tries to convince Lete and Cara Maria to tie, which now means everyone is nominee. This is what they feel gives Michele the chance in The Arena. Lete does not want to be manipulated by Orange and the vets and Tori’s so called potential relationship is hilarious. Will is thrown under the bus in the next confessional by Tori.

They do have the day off from any challenge and so everyone hangs at the beach and drinks. Johnny with his pinky in the air gets to watch Lete dive in and out of the water and this potential WWE star then gets jealous because Anna Leigh who is in a relationship mind you, flirts with Bananas. Anna Leigh also flirted with someone else this season so that relationship she has at home, should end now. They also plant Johnny Bananas undies in Anna Leigh’s bag. It was an odd part of the episode and I still do not get the underwear thing. Anna Leigh fought back making the claim how the group was held back because Leta had to give Johnny oral sex.

While this was all going down, Tori spent the entire day playing the guessing game as far as what type of challenge to expect and of course again, Anna Leigh listens in before she gets angry about it. During the Tori and Will poolside chat, she makes no bones about her not wanting Michele gone. Will says that he has more value to the team and though Tori admits he can be an asset for her, Tori writes it off when comparing it to Michele.

Tori stirs the pot to get Anna Leigh into elimination and Cara Maria and her have a complete yelling match about who is better for the team moving forward. Tori also told Lete that Anna Leigh took Bananas’ underwear that they found in her backpack. Eventually, this rumor spreads, and Will grabs Anna Leigh’s bag with the Undies in it. Anna Leigh says that one of the boys planted them in her bag.

Lete confronted Anna Leigh for touching Bananas stating that Anna Leigh is “insecure in her marriage” and “that she needs to seek sexual validation somewhere else.” Lete and Michele also get into a shouting match and so when at The Arena, Tori sees that its a physical elimination. Tori shocks everyone while getting great praise from TJ by throwing herself into the elimination vs Anna Leigh. The elimination is the infamous CT and Johnny Bananas one known as Back Up Off Me. That was when CT carried Bananas off the course like he was a child.

And, I must say that this was not like that matchup. Anna Leigh impressed me big time. She was in the lead for a few seconds, I believe, and I get it’s hard to gauge, but for many minutes, they were both stuck in the center of the ring. Tori did roll over to get to her knees at one point, and while doing it, it rolled Anna Leigh too. She then chipped away, and again, it was hard for Tori. Tori crawled slowly to get the win. It is a one-and-done challenge, so this was it. Anna Leigh did very well. You have got to be impressed with her. I did not expect what I saw.

Johnny then throws down his underwear to Anna Leigh who twirls them above her head yelling “see ya bitches” as she she leaves the show. Now, I want to see her again. Overall, no final yet. They have four guys and four girls. How much more can they bring it down? Three on Three in the final? That could be actually. They have had as low as one to having 6 people on teams in finals so your guess in that regard, is as good as mine. I thought we would be moving into the final after tonight. I was wrong. We move on to next week.

Ted Lasso Season 4

What do we know heading into the finale of Ted Lasso, Season 4?
Ted Lasso season 4 finale recap: “Being Alive” is DOA

This season, Ted was asked to manage AFC Richmond’s new women’s football team. The team is at the end of its first season; Keeley and Roy are pregnant; Beard went through a version of his midlife crisis with hairpieces, blue colored eye contacts; Rebecca seemed flat footed when Zelda, not Rupert, tried to gain control of Richmond; Alice and Gemma seem to be good with each other by now; and we enter this episode of course mourning the death of Mae.

The sign outside of the Crown & Anchor, says the pub is closed for a private event. Baz, Paul, and Jeremy are in the first scene which is the foreshadow of the bar’s existence and future. It turns out everyone and then some shows up at Mae’s memorial. Beard is starting to strip back down his look by getting rid of his tan in solidarity to Mae who claimed that it was anti-British. She also felt that the diamond stud was pretentious.

Keeley and Roy showed up but left early because of her throwing up constantly. While Keeley ponders Mae death, Roy explains the cycle of life as one dies, another is conceived in his own words. Roy assures her that he’s “got her and that he’s not changing a f—king— but then the phone rings. Again. “F—king hell!” Roy answers. “Pr—k Agent Derrick” has big news.

Roy is offered the head coaching job at Chelsea.

Alice shows Gemma a framed photo of that picture taken last episode on the bus with everyone in the Lady Greyhounds and with Mae, with the hope it gets hanged in the Crown & Anchor. Finally, Jane arrives, dressed all red, including her hat as Her West End show opened that night. And, maybe it was Mae, but Jane gets caught in Beard’s earring which gets pulled from his ear.

Niamh and Siobhan begin to sing “The Parting Glass,” a traditional Irish death song, and while he is doing his homework, Ted picks up on how his son, Henry is having a rough time with the Mae loss. Mae would help Henry with homework and they speak about how Ted’s father died, also mentioning that he was the same age as ted when he dies. Nana told him he had fallen down a flight of steps doing something to his head killing him. Henry asked “is that really what happened?

Surprisingly, Ted lies saying “yeah.” “And he was around your age?” Ted replies saying “Yes. But hey, don’t worry. I’m good on stairs. You ain’t gonna lose me any time soon, I promise.”

Ted and Beard have a heart-to-heart because, as Ted says to Beard, “Henry wanted some straight talk” and that “he went a little too ‘Serpentine.’” Beard replies saying that “as long as his reasons weren’t tied to his own discomfort, he probably made the right call.” That makes Ted think that he did not make the right call.

The Lady Greyhounds’ match is now at Nelson Road, and they still have not made any great head way selling tickets as there was up slip or something, but nothing major as far as sales. Keeley then produces a video that goes viral with a wasted Rebecca slurring and yelling ‘where the f—k they are.’

Then, even though I think I saw him either in the stands or maybe it was in the viral video Keely made, Nate surprises the coaches in the office. The “Wonder Kid” is coaching the Polish national football team.

Then Roy shows up saying, “Diamond Dogs, mount up!” Everyone in the room, besides Alice begins barking.

Roy tells everyone that he and Keely are pregnant and he also states how “he’s terrified he’ll f—k up a perfect kid.” Ted tells him that “fatherhood is something you’re never truly ready for; twelve years after “crapping his khakis” over Henry’s arrival, he still worries about whether he’s doing it right.” Higgins passes along his own father’s advice, “If you drop your kids, pick them up as quickly as possible.” Nate says to Roy that “love wins,” while Beard tells him that the :uncertainty he’s feeling is something many people who aren’t fortunate enough to have kids even though they want them would love to have.”

Alice then says, “Don’t lie to your kids about green beans being delicious.” “And also, don’t disappear when you feel inadequate.” Alice by the way, created the Cat People that accompany the Diamond Dogs.

Pilot Matthijs called Rebecca about him working during the game. Zelda arrives when Higgins tells Rebecca that “The Milk Sisters have sold their shares.” “I can’t believe this is happening,” Rebecca says.

Ted talks about how the Lady Greyhounds makes his time coaching great. He also says that he knows Mae is watching the game.

It’s an especially big day for Shannon, who makes her first start for her childhood club. And Lizzie has her sons Archie and Sean by her side as the Lady Greyhounds walk out for their final match of the year.

Nelson Road sold out the match.

Roy asked Sam about him leaving Richmond for Manchester United and if he regretted it. “Yeah, sure,” Sam says. “But as Dorothy said, sometimes you have to go away to know where home truly is.”

Not Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” his Aunt Dorothy, who left his uncle for a dance teacher. “Big, big scandal in the Obisanya family.”

Roy receives another text from Keeley. Due to stress, she is not watching the match, only listening to it. In reality, she is already at Nelson Road in the locker room because she wants to feel the energy from everyone at the stadium. Her and Roy go out to watch but it is short lived as they had back in for the rest of the game.

Meanwhile, at the mandatory shareholders’ meeting, Zelda claims that she has been the one is taking over over the team. Evidently, Hugo Riddles, had been secretly buying up the shares of Richmond for Zelda, and the Milk Sisters’ also were to have given Zelda that controlling interest. Her goal however, was said that she wants to own a men’s Premier League team.

Regardless, Higgins and Rebecca got Hugo to turn on Zelda! He sold Rebecca the Milk Sisters’ shares, which now had Rebecca and Zelda even at 49 percent each.

Then, lawyer Elaine Pinter, of Pinter and Sons, represented her former client Mae Green. And as the executor of the will, she announces that Mae left the Crown & Anchor to Baz, Jeremy, and Paul, with one request, “Don’t f—k it up.” She also left her two-percent stake ownership in the AFC Richmond be issued back to Rebecca.

Rebecca has 51 percent of the team and therefore, it is still her team.

Zelda apologizes, and Rebecca forgives her while overstating the scorpion-and-frog story when she says that “A woman repeatedly tries to save a drowning scorpion despite getting stung because, just as it is in the scorpion’s nature to sting, it is in hers to save. Why should she change her nature because of someone else’s?”

Rebecca says that she will see her at the next shareholders’ meeting.

Then, Ted apologizes to Henry for missing his football games and promises to shift his schedule for next season. Ted also tells Henry about his father’s suicide. Eventually, Ted gazes at his father’s Salesman of the Year plaque in what feels like some form of closure.

Roy told Rebecca about taking Chelsea’s offer and that they need him to start right away even though he says that he is staying through the end of Richmond’s season. Roy thinks it is a risk. I think its a huge opportunity and probably the biggest opportunity in that world. “But we’ve got to take risks, haven’t we, Rebecca? Or else, what’s the f—king point?”

Roy makes sure that Rebecca knows that she’s the one who taught him. She told Roy one time to stop with the “woe-is-me” act. “And you were right,” he says. “I f—king love you for it.” He then says that “when he gets bored with Chelsea’s unlimited budget and endless resources, he can come crawling back to Richmond.”

Ted then shows up in her office. They speak about Mae’s death. “She died doing what she loved, while the rest of them are still here to laugh, hurt, fall, get back up, and make a mess of things. Being messy means being alive.” “So what are you waiting for?” Rebecca asks. She then wonders what Ted wanted as he sat there listening all this time.

Beard read the review of Jane’s West End show opening that stars Emma Stone, and with Richard Schiff playing the person based on Beard. Mady and Margy assure him that they think Beard is great “just the way you are.” They also thought the show was good. Beard looks up Schiff’s age but anyway, Matthijs points out that Beard has ditched the tan, the earrings, and those deep blue contact lenses after he shows up.

Matthijs showed up with a bouquet of flowers for Rebecca and what is her reply to it? “F—k it, marry me!” She cannot get down on her knee because of her clothes, so Matthijs does it. He gets down on his knees proclaiming the marriage proposal.

Mae’s voice narrates Mary Oliver’s “When Death Comes” as Baz, Jeremy, and Paul are seen settling in and are shown working confidently at the Crown & Anchor, with them putting up Alice’s framed photo with Mae and the team on the bus.

Isaac and Will are shown shaving the head of Beard. Roy packs up to go to Chelsea and finds a gift from Ted. He opens the hand written note telling him that he’ll be a great dad and he also included Ted’s little green Army men. Roy keeps the soldier, leaving Richmond walking away with Keeley.

Ted gives Alice the same going-away gift he took back in Episode 2. Rebecca and Higgins arrive to congratulate Alice as Beard shows up with his new shaven head. “Change is good,” he says, “and there’s plenty of change to go around” is when we find out that Alice Chilton is the head coach of the AFC Richmond women’s team. Willis Beard and Ted Lasso are shown as her assistant managers. And, even though that is how it ended, Ted should hopefully move up to coach the men’s team where Roy left the gap.

I also have to p[resume that if there is a Season 5, if you consider this end, there will be no Roy and Keely.

Rick Devens Wins Big Brother Season 28
Big Brother Winner Devens on James Gunn, Drew Eviction, Survivor, Traitors

Remember how 86 days ago, Rachel Reilly fell into a volcano after being pushed into it by a velociraptor which was odd beginning that I am still not sure what that was about. She was on the Unloaded show that week but again, there was never any talk as far as i know, about what that was about. Whether it was planned or what it was suppose to prove and who made those decisions to switch things up so fast.

Taylor Brown, Drew Campbell, and Rick Devens were the final three that made it to the finale last week.

In Part 1 of the final HOH, Devens and Drew set up a plan that Devens would throw this part to Drew, however, Taylor never fell off the beam! She beat both Drew, whom already fell, and then Devens.

In the second part of the competition, Drew and Devens have to use a slingshot to knock down various cutouts of the former houseguests, until the houseguest who the question is about has to be left standing and not knocked down. Drew led for a while, beating Devens in Round 1, but Devens won the next three rounds handily, taking the Part 2 win in four rounds.

Dee joined the Jury House.

As for Part 3 of the HOH competition, Taylor missed two questions, while Devens did not miss any. Devens wins Part 3. He is now the last Head of Household of the season.

Let’s be real. No one was beating Devens. Drew was not beating Devens and Taylor was not beating Devens in the Final 2.

Even though Taylor’s point about jury management clicked and even though she said that she would get Lala to vote against him, Devens was not losing to Taylor. Devens decided to go against his alliance with Drew, Drew was not going to win head to head against Devens.

Therefore, Drew joined the jury house.

During the final questions about how they each played the game, Taylor’s answers are fine, but again, she is not winning against a Devens. You heard “the person who deserves it the most” or “the player who was an absolute shark” when they placed in the keys.

He won six to one, with Taylor getting Lala’s vote.

Devens also won America’s Favorite Player, for another $50,000.

Between these wins, and the $10,000 from the Pharaoh’s Curse, he won a total of $810,000.

“Big Brother” has been renewed for two more seasons.
