AND MCGEE, TONIGHT, IT’S THE TOWER LOCATED RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO KANSAS CITY. PBS. KPD, A K, C P T. POLICE SAY THE MAN WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF WHAT THEY CALL A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS. HE CAME DOWN ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER.

Emergency crews rescued a man after he climbed a television tower on Friday evening. It happened at 31st and McGee Friday in Kansas City. It’s the tower located next door to KCPT. Police are unsure why the individual climbed up the tower.He was rescued 30 minutes after he climbed the tower. He is currently in police custody at a hospital. He was not injured.
