From a common Girl to most loved celebrity, Shehnaaz Gill’s parents once wanted her to leave acting and get married


Shehnaaz Gill needs no introduction. The actres is one of the most famous celebrities in the present time. She had a massive fan following. She became famous after she appeared in Bigg Boss. Today is the birthday of Punjab’s Katrina Kaif. On her Birthday have a look on her interesting Journey.

She was born on this day in 1993 in a Sikh family. Shehnaaz’s mother Parminder Kaur Gill revealed during an interview that when Shehnaaz was 16-17 years old, everyone used to call her Katrina.  Shehnaz Gill wanted to enter in the acting world since childhood. She started modeling at a very young age. She was not a good student. She has graduated from a university in Punjab.

Shehnaaz then began her acting career in Punjabi Industry. She appeared in the music video Shiv Di Kitab in 2015. This song was sung by Gurvinder Brar. Shehnaaz got recognization from Majhe Di Jatti. After this she was seen in Garry Sandhu’s popular music video Holi-Holi.

Shehnaaz Gill once revealed that she went against the wishes of her family and entered the field of acting. Her family members wanted to get her married.  She once said, “ When I used to come back from shooting late at night, there used to be a lot of ruckus in the house. I didn’t get married because of constant fighting with my family members. I left the house and ended my relationship with him. However, seeing my popularity, my family members were very proud of me .”

Shehnaaz’s journey is complete without Sidharth Shukla. Shehnaaz and Sidharth had a massive fan following. Not only this their fans also made a hashtag Sidnaaz. Their Bond was one of the best bands in the history of Bigg Boss.  Shehnaaz and Sidharth remained very close friends even after the end of Bigg Boss. However, destiny has its own plan.
