The team behind Yours & Owls festival have expanded their stable with the arrival of their newest adventure, Lazy Mountain Music & Arts Festival.

The all-ages event will arrive at the lush surrounds of Berry on the NSW South Coast Easter Saturday, 8 April.

Multiple ARIA and 2022 J Award winners Gang Of Youths and multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter extraordinaire Tash Sultana headline the inaugural Lazy Mountain Music & Arts Festival.

They’ll be joined by indie favourites Middle Kids, alternative punk rockers Slowly Slowly, Wollongong-born, South Coast-raised singer-songwriter Tyne-James Organ, the future pop of Merci, Mercy and Wollongong indie folk-rock talent Aodhan.

“Stoooked to be playing Lazy Mountain Festival,” shares Middle Kids. While Slowly Slowly are equally amped: “Proper stoked for this one.” As is Tyne-James Organ: “Gassed to be playing Lazy Mountain Festival.”

Designed for music lovers who enjoy a sedated pace ‘without having to exert all that sweaty, stressy, set time clashing effort’, Lazy Mountain will feature just one stage, with foodies looked after by the tasteful folk behind the South Coast Food and Wine Festival.

Tickets on sale from 8am (local time) on 31 January.

Lazy Mountain Music & Arts Festival takes place at Berry Showgrounds (South Coast) 8 April.
