Actor Baron Geisler is now a celebrity endorser!

This after Baron was launched as the brand ambassador for Lemonyo Juice Drink by Big Brew, during a mediacon held at Pandan Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City last Thursday.

“Dream come true po ito,” said Baron when asked how he felt about his debut as showbiz endorser. Baron began in showbiz in the phenomenal kiddie show “Ang TV” in 1994. Later, the actor become part of ABS-CBN’s roster of talents under Star Circle Batch 5 in 1997.

Baron, 40, recalled how the brand was offered to him in November 2022.

“Pinuntahan nila ako sa amin akala ko magpapatikim lang sila. Biglang naging Lemonyo party. Ang daming flavors at ang daming tao. Tinikman ko naman lahat. Sabi ko noon ang tamis. Paano yung nagda-diet? So happy ako na may fruit flavors na nag-complement ‘yung tamis at pagiging sour ng drink. At may real fruits pa. It’s not processed food na. I really enjoyed it,” Baron said.

(They came to us, I thought they would just give us samples. Suddenly it became a Lemonyo party. There were so many flavors and so many people. I tasted everything. I said it was sweet. What about those who are on a diet? So I’m happy that there are fruit flavors. The sweetness and sourness of the drink complement it. And there are real fruits. It’s not processed food anymore. I really enjoyed it.)

Baron made sure that his earnings in his first endorsement would not go to waste. That’s why the actor said he will invest the money in his future home.

“I have been wanting to build my own home for my family. Ito ilalaan ko po talaga na makapagpatayo ako ng kahit na maliit na bahay. Maraming salamat sa Lemonyo. Ilalagay ko lang talaga ‘yung Lemonyo fund specifically para sa itatayo naming bahay ni Jamie para sa aming pamilya,” said Baron, who was accompanied by his wife Dr. Jamie Marie Evangelista-Geisler at the launch.

(I will save the money so that I can build even a small house. Thank you very much to Lemonyo. I will really only put the Lemonyo fund specifically for the house Jamie and I will build for our family.)

Baron also said that he did not think twice in accepting the endorsement.

“Hindi po ako nagdalawang isip. We’re fighting the stigma. Sa mga addict at alcoholic, hindi na mawawala ‘yung stigma. May nagtanong nga sa akin, ‘umiinom ka pa ba Baron?’ Never na mawawala siguro ‘yan up until mga four years na tuloy-tuloy na nakikita nila ako sa TV or hangga’t wala na silang marinig na negative or bad issue sa akin. That’s our goal here which is to fight the stigma,” he said.

(I didn’t think twice. We’re fighting the stigma. Among addicts and alcoholics, the stigma will never disappear. Someone actually asked me, ‘do you still drink Baron?’ Maybe that will never go away until about four years of seeing me continuously on TV or until they no longer hear anything negative or bad about me.)

Now that he has an endorsement, Baron said that he is no longer allowed to undress on screen.

“Nasa contact na bawal muna akong maghubad. So I will honor my contract. But I have a movie with Kristine Reyes kasi. We might be shooting in February. Kami pong dalawa ang lead. Hindi po ito Vivamax. May love scene pero tender lang. So wholesome pa rin ang love scene namin,” he added.

(My contract does not allow me to undress. So I will honor my contract. But I have a movie with Kristine Reyes because. We might be shooting in February. We are the two leads. This is not Vivamax. There is a love scene but it is tender . So our love scene is still wholesome.)

Baron also said that he tries to stay healthy to maintain his sobriety.

“Hindi po ako gaano nagka-carbs. I work out almost every day. I really take care of my body not only for myself but to sustain and maintain my sobriety and the blessings that come our way.”

Following his critically-acclaimed movie “Doll House” on Netflix, Baron will be seen in the upcoming flick “Bangsamoro” which will be directed by award-winning director Brillante Mendoza. “It’s Brillante Mendoza’s biggest budget movie to date. It’s a movie of hope, love and family.”
